Ernie owned May Insurance Agency prior to joining Sycamore Insurance Associates.

May graduated from Bloomfield High School and went on to pursue his career in the insurance profession. Ernie started his insurance career in Bloomington, Indiana in 1976 and relocated to Terre Haute in 1983 starting the May Insurance Agency until December 2018, he is extremely excited to be joining Sycamore Insurance Associates. He is licensed in all lines of insurance and serves clients in the states of Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio, He is LUTCF certified. Over his career he was a member of the Terre Haute Jaycees, worked as a volunteer in little league coaching in Riley, was involved in 4-H and served on the Beef board and was barn superintendent for the beef barn during his involvement in 4-H.
Sycamore Insurance Associates is an independent agency offering a full line of insurance products, including commercial and personal lines. It was founded by Donald T. "Scotty" Scott, a fourth-generation insurance provider, in 2010. The agency offers group benefit and wellness services to both large and small employers.
